The Indian rupee opened at 55.10 per dollar versus 54.95 on Monday.
Manis Thanawala, Greenback Forex Services said, "The rupee is likely to open around 55.10/USD. With thin trade across global markets, the rupee may trade with a weak bias. Flows are also expected to slow down this week. The range for the day is seen between 55-55.40/USD."
